Meet Kara Phillips
Kara Phillips is the founder and creative director of Phillips House. Known for her clear vision and grounded leadership, she brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to high-level residential projects.
Kara graduated from Texas Christian University in 2008 with a degree in Finance and Real Estate. In 2012, she and her husband, Brett Phillips, co-founded High Street Homes, where she gained a comprehensive understanding of construction and the complexities of custom residential work. This foundation continues to shape the way she collaborates with architects, contractors, and trades in support of a seamless project experience.
In 2021, Kara launched Phillips House to focus exclusively on interior design and the more personal layer of home creation. Her calm presence, discretion, and meticulous process have made her a trusted partner for clients who value privacy and an approach that meets the nuance and scale of their projects.
